Hi Carey

I would say that a CV pool of 2.3 million odd people, you mentioned to me that SEEK already has, but charges Recruiters & Employers to access the service, sends a fairly powerful message that it is a service that Job Seekers want to tap into.

I know, from what you have indicated to me, SEEK has been trying to hatch a way to make this side of the business more effective....and rightly so....

All I am saying is that the service is a great option for people on the hunt for a Job and for the Recruiters & Employers that want to use this model.

It's Cheaper & Fair.... It's just as satisfying and holds weight, as long as Job Seekers can keep their CV / Profile up to date in real time, like they can on nt3.

It also needs to protect Job Seekers Privacy, like the nt3 Service offers Job Seekers....

I can appreciate you pointing out old models that technology at the time, made it difficult to gain traction with.

Based on what I already have....with a few more dollars, with my ideas...I could have this model firmly in the main stream and widely accepted!

Times have changed...technology is more accessible, faster, smarter and can deliver on a solid CV Database model that works.

The nt3 System works extremely well and has proven itself.... I just wish I had the backing of a industry leader to market the system. nt3 is still relatively unknown at the moment.....but that will change....

I know it is easier to point out old models and throw around a few stats...when the model you currently have, has not worked that effectively to spend time developing it.

I can see why SEEK is skeptical of this trend.....and if I were in your position, I would skirt around the issue also....

I would be happy to offer SEEK the ability to use the nt3 model for FREE and pay me a revenue split.

I can see how our new development being completed by the end of this month will be more that competitive, if not better than any other Classified type Job Board before it.

You know my number Carey....I am going to go for gold regardless....it would just make life easier to partner with the Australian Market Leader.....

Andrew,

I have to agree.

Whilst a CV database will not be a game changer, I would say that Monster in the US have leveraged theres very nicely and it is a large proportion of their revenue generation. Sites in the UK such as CVlibrary.co.uk are also great exponents of how a good CV database can be an advantage.

It's funny how all the majors, who have a CV Database that does not work properly or charge Recruiters & Employers to access the service....seem to underestimate the trend, & are quick to squash new players who have a marketable, innovative facility that is poised to give "the Big Guys" a run for their money.

I am seeing the "CV Database" trend grow every day....

I suppose time will tell....

When is SEEK launching their version of nt3 Carey?

Cant wait to see your marketing strategy on that one. It will be hard to see how you will pull back from your comments above, and convince customers that a new SEEK CV database is an extremely viable option....

I wish I had your Marketing Dollars.....
