Video is a powerful & compelling way to translate the work environment and culture of an organisation, particularly if done well (read: honest and real). We are about to release our first recruitment video in the next week or so. It took us several months to get the project off the ground but since its completion we have been thrilled with the positive response & feedback it has received from the business. The really impressive part is that we harnessed all the talent in-house enabling us to make the video very cheaply. We are now looking to make videos for other parts of the business as well. I agree.
